Product sync or review failed?

When syncing products from Shopify to TikTok Shop using EcomSend Feed, you might encounter the following sync statuses:

  • Not Synced: The product has not been synced.

  • Synced: The product has been successfully synced via EcomSend Feed.

  • Sync Failed: EcomSend Feed attempted to sync the product but failed.

  • Review Failed: EcomSend Feed synced the product successfully, but it did not pass TikTok Shop’s review.

👉 Whether it’s a sync failure or a review failure, you can simply click the failed badge for more details. Follow the instructions to identify the issue, update the product info, and then re-sync.

Common failure examples and solutions

Sync Failed

Price out of range
Update the product price in Shopify
Re-sync in EcomSend Feed

Reason: Price out of range Solution: TikTok Shop does not allow products priced at $0 to be listed. Update the product price in Shopify, then re-sync in EcomSend Feed.


Reason: Remove or modify the duplicated value: "white" Solution: Locate the duplicated attribute value (white) in the Shopify product, update it, then re-sync in EcomSend Feed.


Review Failed

Reason: Wrong Product Category Placement Solution: Click Re-sync, choose the most suitable category, fill in the required information, and sync again.


Reason: Prohibited Product (Alcohol, Tobacco, or E-cigarettes) Suggestion: Products classified as dangerous goods require documentation such as an SDS. Provide the necessary certification before resubmitting. Solution: Delete the product from your TikTok Shop product list. Do not attempt to re-sync it in the future.

⚠️ TikTok Shop applies strict review standards. Please ensure all products comply with listing requirements. Do not attempt to list prohibited products, as this may negatively impact your shop’s Account Health.


Why is my product synced successfully but stuck in review?

For U.S. shops, certain product categories require TikTok Shop approval before being sold. In this case, the product remains in review until approval is granted.

Solution: Click the Review badge, then click Apply now to request approval.
