# Sync orders to Shopify

The order sync feature is currently available for **US** TikTok Shop **only**.

If you use **other** connector apps with TikTok Shop, we recommend using **only** our app for product and order sync to **prevent duplicate syncing**.

Here’s how EcomSend Connector synchronizes orders to Shopify:

## Fetching orders

 Orders meeting the following criteria will automatically fetching from TikTok Shop to our app:

* Fulfillment type: [**Fulfilled by Seller**](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]
* Order status: Has reached **Awaiting shipment** (i.e., paid and no longer on hold)

For new users, we automatically fetching the **past 7 days** of TikTok Shop orders into our app for free. You can then choose whether to sync these orders to Shopify based on your needs.

## Syncing orders to Shopify

You can sync orders (including items, prices, and other details) to Shopify based on your order sync settings.

**Manual sync**: On the ***Orders page*** in our app, find the order you want to sync and click the **Sync** button in the **Action** column. Or **select multiple orders** to **sync in bulk**.

**Automatic sync:** **Enable** the **Automatic sync** feature on the *Settings → Order* page. The system will automatically sync all 'Not synced'  orders (both existing and new).

## Field mapping details <a href="#field-mapping-details-shopify-tiktok-shop" id="field-mapping-details-shopify-tiktok-shop"></a>

The following section explains in detail how the main fields from TikTok Shop are synced to Shopify.

**TikTok Shop → Shopify**&#x20;

> **TikTok Shop**: Go to TikTok Shop Seller Center Admin → Orders page → Manage Orders → Select specific order to see details
>
> **Shopify**: Go to Shopify Admin → Orders page → Select specific order to see details

### Order ID → Order number

When syncing orders to Shopify, our app uses Shopify’s **default** **order number**.\
The original TTS **order ID** is stored in **Additional details** for reference, so you can track the order back to TikTok Shop if needed.

### Time created → Date

The order creation time in Shopify is set to the time **when the customer placed the order** on TikTok Shop, **not** the time the order was synced by our app. This helps ensure accurate reporting of order timelines.

### Delivery status

Shopify has two delivery statuses: **In transit** and **Delivered**.\
When a TTS order reaches either status, it will be automatically synced to Shopify to reflect the current delivery state.&#x20;

**Note:** Updates to delivery status **depend on TikTok Shop’s system**. Our app does not provide package tracking or delivery updates.

### &#x20;Customer details → Customer

For orders using **TikTok Shipping**, customer information is **anonymized**. Full details may not be visible in Shopify.\
TTS provides only an **anonymous** email address, so **do not send messages directly** to this email. To contact the buyer, go to **Seller Center → Buyer Messages**.

### Delivery option → Delivery method

Our app will sync the TikTok Shop **delivery option** (e.g., Standard Shipping) to Shopify.\
This ensures that the delivery method selected in TikTok Shop is accurately reflected in the corresponding Shopify order.

### Notes

Our app will sync the customer’s **buyer message** from TikTok Shop to the **Notes** section in Shopify, so you can see any special instructions or messages from the buyer.

The following information is synced to Shopify **Additional Details**:

Channel: TikTok Shop - {{Store Name}}\
TikTok Shop Order ID: {{Order ID}}\
Shipping Method: {{Seller Shipping}}

### Items

The products in the order correspond to the linked Shopify products.

If a product was part of a promotion, the synced price will reflect the **discounted price** from the TikTok Shop order.

* If the products **were synced through our app**, the items will match the corresponding Shopify products created by the app.

* If the products **were not synced through our app**, the items will be matched to the **linked Shopify products**. Please make sure your TikTok Shop products are properly linked to Shopify products.

### Taxes/Discount/Shipping fee

All synced prices include discounts applied in TikTok Shop.&#x20;

Default tag added: **TikTok Shop**

Additional tags:

* **TikTok Shop Gift** → for gift orders
* **TikTok Shop Sample** → for affiliate sample orders
