TikTok Shop required configurations?

Sometimes, you may see a red banner in the app saying: “Complete TikTok Shop required configurations.”

This message appears because your TikTok Shop account is missing some required settings. Each TikTok Shop must complete a series of setup steps before products can be listed. If these requirements are not met, our app cannot sync your products to TikTok Shop.

The following guide is based on TikTok Shop documentation and experiences from other sellers. All settings must be completed within your TikTok Shop account. The instructions below are primarily for US TikTok Shop accounts.

Shop Status

Why it appears: This reflects your TikTok Shop account’s current status. Temporary restrictions may be applied due to:

  • Routine security checks

  • Risk prevention measures

  • Compliance verification

Solution:

  • If you have questions about any restrictions, contact TikTok Shop customer support.

  • Wait for your account to be reinstated before syncing products.


Shop Tax

Why it appears: Your TikTok Shop account has missing or incomplete Tax Information.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → My Account → Account Settings → Tax Information.

  2. Complete or review your tax information and submit it correctly.


Pickup Warehouse/Return Warehouse

Why it appears: Your TikTok Shop account has not set up or correctly filled in warehouse information.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → My Account → Account Settings → Warehouse Settings.

  2. Fill in Pickup Warehouses and Return Warehouse according to your business needs.

  3. For dropshipping sellers, contact your supplier for the relevant warehouse information.


Shipping Template

Why it appears: Your shipping template is missing or incomplete.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → Orders → Shipping Settings → Delivery Settings.

  2. Set up shipping according to your business, including Delivery Areas and Shipping Rules.


Extended Producer Responsibility

Why it appears: This mainly affects EU stores, due to EU regulations.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → My Account → Account Settings → Qualification Centre.

  2. Complete or review your information and submit it correctly.


Product Quantity Limit

Why it appears: Reached the TikTok Shop product upload limit

Solution:

  1. After the limit is lifted, you can re-sync the failed products and sync products in EcomSend Feed.

  2. You can view it on your TikTok Shop Home page.


Delivery Option

Why it appears: Your store has not set up delivery options or the information is incomplete.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → Orders → Shipping Settings → Delivery Settings.

  2. Select the delivery options that match your business.


Bank Account

Why it appears: Your bank account information is missing, incomplete, or under review.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → My Account → Account Settings → Bank Account.

  2. Fill in your bank details accurately.


Contact Info

Why it appears: Your contact information is missing, incomplete, or under review.

Solution:

  1. Go to TTS Seller Center → My Account → Seller Profile.

  2. Provide accurate contact details for your store.


After Completing Configurations

Once all required configurations are completed:

  • The red “Complete TikTok Shop required configurations” banner should disappear.

  • If it doesn’t, click Refresh to update your app with the latest store settings.

You are now ready to sync your products to TikTok Shop:
