# Price sync rules

## Price type

When syncing products to TikTok Shop, our app follows your customized sync rules for pricing. You can configure these settings under:\
**Settings → Product → Price → Sync rules**

You can choose to sync either the **Price** or the **Compare-at Price** as the TikTok Shop retail price.

* If **Compare-at Price** is selected but not set in Shopify, we will automatically use the **Price** instead.
* For **US TikTok Shop**, if you choose to sync the **Price**, you can also decide whether to sync the **Compare-at Price** as TikTok Shop’s [**List Price**](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/university/essay?identity=1\&role=1\&knowledge_id=1571139399780142\&from=feature_guide\&anchor_link=EBEB00CD).

## Price Adjustment

You can choose to **increase** or **decrease** the synced price by a specific percentage.

For example:

Shopify Price: €55.0&#x30;**,** Price adjustment: +10%

Final synced price to TikTok Shop: **€60.50** (€55.00\*110%)&#x20;

## &#x20;Exchange Rate

If your Shopify store currency differs from the TikTok Shop market’s currency, we will automatically convert it before syncing.

The exchange rate is auto-synced from Shopify, but you can manually set a fixed rate as a fallback.

For example: For US TikTok Shop

* If your Shopify store currency **is USD**, we will directly sync your new product's price.
* If your Shopify store currency **is not USD**, we will automatically **convert** your product's new price to USD before syncing.
